THE FOREIGN CORRESPONDENTS’ CLUB OF SOUTH ASIA (FCC SOUTH ASIA) RULES & INSTRUCTIONS FOR MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION
The FCC South Asia is a Club of professional journalists working for the international media and was founded in 1958. We also admit members under five other categories: Journalists working for the Indian media (Journalist Associate), diplomats based in India (Diplomat Associate), professionals, authors, artistes, government officials etc (General Associate) and corporate executives wishing to interact with the media (Corporate Associate).
Membership of the FCC South enables you to visit and avail the facilities of the Club, enables you to attend events at the Club, and also gives you access to 42 Press Clubs in 28 countries in the Indo-Pacific, Europe and North America. As and when FCC South Asia has reciprocal arrangements with media and other clubs in India and overseas, the same will be informed to members so that they can avail the benefits.
The Club has the right to refuse and rescind the membership of any individual based on the rules and regulations of the Club and in the interest of the membership of the Club and its activities. Continued membership shall always be subject to the proven good behaviour of the member in line with the profile, image and interests of the FCC.
