Welcome to the Foreign Correspondents’ Club of South Asia, a group of more than 500 journalists and photographers covering India, Pakistan, Myanmar, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Nepal, Maldives, Afghanistan and Tibet.
New members are always welcome – there is a link to the membership application form.
While the club is primarily for “Foreign” correspondents, and those who work for news outlets outside of the region we welcome journalists from local newspapers, magazines and television as “Associate Journalist” members. In addition, we admit Associates such as diplomats, civil servants, academics, lawyers, independent professionals and people dealing with the media from non-governmental organizations and companies.
The FCC has become an important meeting point for far-flung travelling journalists to reconnect and recharge. The club has also substantially improved facilities for press conferences, screenings, book launches and other cultural events.
