Oleg Dmitriev is a Professor and academic head for "International News Production" Masters' Programmeat the Media Department, Higher School of Economics, HSE University of Russia, Moscow. He has 29 years of practical media experience. He used to work as a producer and reporter for Russian nationwide TV. In the 1990s, he was a contributor to CNN World Report. In 2014-2015, he was an acting chief for the English Service "Voice of Russia" radio station. Currently, he also consults Russian International Media outlets that are based in Moscow.

Andrey Buryachenko is a Manager of "International News Production" Masters' Programme at HSE University. Before joining HSE, he worked at Plekhanov Russian University of Economics as a deputy dean. His current responsibilities: supervision of Master's programmes in journalism and media communications. He combines his managerial activities with teaching media economics at HSE.

The Faculty of Communication, Media, and Design of HSE University offers a mix of practical education completely unique to Russia. The Faculty's goal is to help creative people become even more creative and to offer diligent students the incredible opportunity of being inventive with their zeal. The Faculty is the first in Russia to start training specialists for new media outlets. The students of the Faculty were active partners of the Media Team at 2014 Winter Olympic Games in Sochi, Russia. The department also prepares Bachelor's andMaster's students of design, data journalism, andadvertising.
